Dragon Story

Fall Newsletter 2005

Hello!  My name is Kelsea. I live in Kingsville, Ont. It is beautiful here. I have a pet dragon but it’s not a real dragon. He is 17 inches long and his tail is really long. He has orange around his eyes and he has spikes on his head. He is a bearded dragon. His name is Sparky the dragon.

Here is a story about him.

Once, when Sparky was angry, his back looked like a pancake. His chin was all puffed out like a beard, that’s why he’s called a bearded dragon. He was double his size. When I rubbed his chin he started to relax and he opened his mouth.

Another time my Dad bought some worms and crickets. When he brought them home, we put them in the cage in the container that they came in and  Sparky ate them all right away. It was really funny!

I LOVE HAVING A DRAGON AS A PET!
