At the Lodge

Fall Newsletter 2005

Hi my name is Katie. I am 8 yrs old. My birthday is April1st

I like piano, I play it a lot. My piano teacher is Jodi, she is nice.

Every year I have to play in front of an audience.

I played Magic Scarecrow (Halloween cancan) at the Lodge before Halloween.

It was my 4th time to play there and I wasn’t nervous. My friends were not nervous either. It took a long time to practice. The Lodge is where old people live. We go there to play for them. We had cookies and juice after we played.

My two friends and I played Magic Scarecrow (Halloween cancan). We had to wear our Halloween costumes. My friend Erica was a snow fairy. I was a fairy and my friend Patricia was a princess. She was very pretty.

Then after my friend Erica played, she forgot her wand on the top of the piano. It was funny. We like playing piano at the Lodge.

Katie
