A collection of Jonathan's writings over the past years.
"Hi, it's Jon. Ever since I came back from China in March, I've been hooked on airplanes. Most of the time when I'm on the computer, it is to look up pictures and online movies of airplanes. I also have a Flight Simulator and while playing on it I can control the weather and the places from where I want to fly. All in all, I've learned a lot about the world. I have a Lego airport which allows me to construct the airplanes and make the runways longer. Eventually I would like to be a pilot or work at an airport. I've been to the Aviation Museum in Ottawa a few times and have learned a lot about the history of airplanes. While being at the Museum, I realized that I prefer today's modern passenger planes to those of the World Wars and others. The first time I was on an airplane was when I was brought to Canada when I was one year old. Now I am ten years old and I'm still flying on airplanes. In a couple of years I will be flying to Bratislava, Slovakia in Europe. It will be my first time in Europe and I can't wait to go."
I am 9 years old. I was born, in Hangzhou, China, but now I live in Ottawa. I lived in China only for one year before my parents came to China and got me. My life is pretty amazing since I lived in China and was moved to Canada. I think I like my life better here than in China because I went to the website and saw the place that I was in for a year. My favourite sports are soccer, squash, skiing and tennis. Of the four, my most favourite is squash because it is fun to run around the court and hit the tiny black ball and beat my Dad. I also really like skiing because it is fun going fast down the hill. My parents are very nice. They really like when I cook for them and do a nice presentation with the food. I like cooking food because it is fun to make food look pretty so when you have company they will like the food and they will also want to come back. I think my life so far is pretty complex because I have to go through a lot of hustle in school to get from one class to another. Jonathon
