Carol Stitt, Susan Mayo and Lee McCoy travelled to Hefei in a group of 14 families in July to bring home Meilin, Jillian & Aisling. They conspired to write this report.

Andit came to pass that the travellers came upon a vast sea of red taxis, which they were unable to traverse in that it was at least 6 lanes wide, and great was the fury and tumult thereof. And lo, as they did anguish amongst themselves, saying “but truly, how may we cross this mighty torrent of red taxis – verily we are trapped on this side of the road with our babies for ever and ever.”

And so it came to pass that the great and powerful YULIN did step forth and raise her hand and cry a loud cry, and then did the sea of raging taxis subside on either side, and behold there appeared unto the travellers a passage through the traffic, that they might take to reach the other side. Then did they follow the mighty YULIN (who might as well be known henceforth as Moses) and did cross the Red Sea of taxis, and were brought safe and with their babies to the other side.

And all those who did see it said one unto another “truly hath a miracle been performed here!” And they did worship Yulin and did marvel at her skills and organisation.
