Andrew Creek (age 9) & brother Evan (age 6) travelled to China with
parents Bianca & David to meet their sister Meili.

Oct. 30, 1999

I went from Vancouver to China today. It was an 11 our ftit. The eltatuot was 33000 feet. That’s relly high. And were getting the baby Oct. 31.

Oct. 31

We got the baby today. She is so cute. It took her a while to get used to us. And we’re in the city of Hefei. And her name is Meili.

Nov. 2

People seem to likr my Currly hair because it is rare to have curely hair in China. And lots of people seem to like are baby. And we went to Bao temple.

Nov. 4

I flew from Hefei to Bashing today. I was going to Summer Palis today but I was sick.

Nov. 6

I went to the great wall of China today. It was aosom! I also went to a secret road. My brother and I saw lots of stachows. Did you know that the great wall is 5000 km? And on the secret road there is a tom. A tom is a bilding bilt for eperor that died. The peror is baried under the tom. There is a tuertle in the tom. He is a stachow and if you tuch it you will live a long life. In other words you will be lucky.

Nov. 7

I went to Tiananmen Squre today. It is the bigest squre in the world. I also went to the Forbidden City today.  It is treasharis. A fire burned it down so they had to rebild it. It was the home of the eperor.

Nov. 8

I went to the tempull of hevan. The emperer used to pray there. It is vary big and it takes a long time to get throw.

Nov. 9

I went to Lama tempull. It has lots of Buddhas. Abuddha is what they call god. They imangine him as a round bald man. There was one that was 36 meter’s tall.

Nov. 10

I am flying home to Toronto. My gradma is picking us up at the Toronto airport.
