LiYan’s Report

My name is LiYan Carson and I am seven years old.  In May, I traveled to China with my family and we had lots to do. I got to do something that others didn’t get to do. I got sick and went to a Chinese hospital in Guangzhou where they gave me a needle. After that I had a big rest and I liked that. I also liked buying my cloisonné ring at the factory. It is blue. I also like playing with baby Hannah. She lives close to us so we can visit sometimes. Yulin also took us to a restaurant that had lots of fresh food. There was a crocodile that so fresh that his body was still shaking after his head was chopped off.

I’m TieJian Carson and I am six. I have a few favourite things about my trip. We saw a fashion show at the silk factory.  We went to a pet market where I saw cute, cute rabbits. When we were there, my mom saw a kitten she wanted to take home. My sister Liyan saw a chipmunk that she wanted, too.  At the Forbidden City, Mary Lou and Joe took pictures with us and their new baby, Angelica. I also liked staying in the hotels, but it was so sad because the TV showed lots of stuff about the poor people who were stuck in the earthquake. A lot of kids and grown ups died. We also went to a zoo.

An’s Report

My favorite part of going to China was playing with the babies Hannah and Angelica. Baby Hannah lives just about 20 minutes away from my house. They are so cute. I also like playing and hanging out with Rianne a girl that went to china that was my age. Actually Rianne and I were adopted on the same trip in 1999 and we both got new sisters on this trip and became great friends. I also really liked going to the acrobat show. The people were so talented and good at doing acrobats. I liked going to the great wall of China.  It was so long and so hot but I had lots of fun. I even did a presentation on it at school when I got home. I really liked going to see the pandas. They are so cute. I hope they won’t become extinct for a while but at least I have a mini statue of a panda.  I really liked going shopping I didn’t get to buy lots of things but I had lots of fun shopping. Going to the silk and pearl market was really fun too. I even bought a purse. Another fun thing was going to the silk market because we all saw a fashion show. I love going to China and hope I can go again some time.
