Hangzhou

At first in the morning we all went to a delicate Chinese garden.  When the beautiful peacocks fanned out their tails they easily took the show.

The spring that comes every year showed promise with the bright sun and opening buds.  From this garden we departed onto a quaint boat.  On the boat, Kelsey told us about the pagodas and the history of West Lake.

After seeing the West Lake, we got ont the bus to visit the tea factory.  On the bus, we learned how they handpick the leaves because using a machine would rip or  cut the leaves.

Once we got off the bus, we learned even more about the tea’s history.  Next, the tea ceremony !  At the ceremony a lady tought us yet more about tea and how healthy it is.  Many if not all the people found the tea delicious.  That day was a good business day for the day factory.

Following lunch, the group visited the State Guest House Hotel.

This is where most families stayed after adopting their baby.  The children had fun playing on the grass and seeing where some of them were many years ago.  Last a Chinese story represented by a light and fountain show.  I am sure everyone enjoyed this day.
